Role One: Digital Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Founder/CEO, this is a pivotal new role – we are looking for an ambitious self-starter, passionate about growing a brand to mould into their own. You’ll lead, develop and execute Country Culture’s social media and digital marketing strategy to drive market share and growth targets in a competitive industry.

This role will initially be very hands on and see you lead all marketing activities including managing Digital Platforms, SEO, email, social, and brand campaigns. You may also manage a junior Social and Digital Marketing Execs. Based in Alexandria, onsite parking and close to transport.

 What You'll Do

Strategy

  • Support with the development of an ongoing content strategy and the content calendar to ensure a constant supply of relevant content across our channels to drive engagement.
  • Develop and manage the social media strategy across all channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok, Spotify and the blog.
  • Responsible for developing and executing online and offline marketing programs across a variety of marketing and sales channels.
  • Manage the end to end sales funnel – via SEO, EDM’s, Cart abandonment emails etc.
  • Research the market, analysing customer trends and buying patterns to help define the marketing strategy, and provide advice on how to reach the best target market.

 

Content Creation & Marketing Campaign Management

  • Maintain the events calendar and pre-planning required to create specific campaigns for gifting to hit corresponding sales targets - Mother’s Day, Christmas etc.
  • Get hands-on with content creation across our social media channels to bring stories supporting the Country Culture brand and those of our suppliers to life.
  • Leverage local and cultural moments to produce content that optimises brand relevance in Australian market.
  • Liaise with suppliers to uncover great stories and content for the blog and social media channels.
  • Help amplify our content through influencer partnerships or collaborations that align with our brand values and vision.
  • Provide copywriting/editing support across all brand channels and undertake other key projects as required.
  • Act as the brand guardian across all digital and social media content across the site, ensuring we establish a strong tone of voice.
  • Implementing and executing marketing campaigns across all digital channels including Display, SEO, Facebook, Google, Google Ads Email, Instagram and more.
  • Develop and execute integrated brand EDM strategies, automated customer journeys from acquisition to retention and campaigns to drive online sales revenue and improve key measurement metrics.
  • Drive email marketing strategy and campaign delivery and create A/B tests to optimise subscription behaviour across website assets and referral programs.
  • Understanding of online buyer behaviour and where they consume content.
  • Build databases for B2C and B2B offerings.
  • Responsible for database growth through both paid and organic channels.
  • Subscriber acquisition and retention across our emails and podcasts will be your number one priority.
  • Support growing our database as well as an advanced level of lead generation using the LinkedIn platform and social media capability ( Instagram,Instagram reels, FB, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest etc).
  • Work with our SEO and SEM partner to review campaigns and drive growth in all channels and ensure executional success of e-commerce strategy and key initiatives.

Data & Insights

  • Analyse and report on the success across all channels and activities in line with relevant benchmarks and site based KPI’s and Metric’s.
  • Continuously evolve our channel and content strategy through analysis of data to understand what is working and what's not working.
  • Report on the success of our content across relevant channels, and report back on how this supports overall business goals to the team.
  • Monitor social media trends and the competitive landscape so we can create strategic decisions for the site and the business. Share learnings and best practices with the wider team.
  • Create and build audience segments from email user behaviour that can offer insights to the future roadmap and strategy.
  • Customer UX focus and analyze campaign performance and insights to improve the customer journey and conversion channels.
  • Experience capturing customer insights and data to provide recommendations for strategy and website optimisations.
  • Analysis and reporting of online financial performance including budget gap analysis, deriving meaningful insights.
  • Monitor online analytic tools and competitor behaviour to identify areas for improvement.
  • Budget management to drive improved ROI via increased engagement and conversion metrics.

All about you:

  • You’re driven, organised and level-headed with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5 years of relevant social media experience.
  • You will hit the ground running - you have worked in a online retail/e-comm environment and understand what’s required to maintain and grow an online store.
  • Confident directing, leading a team and delegating tasks.
  • You’re obsessed with finding innovative ways of storytelling and have a track record of implementing social media campaigns and driving engagement via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest and/or blogs.
  • Confident writer, able to design and post content on the fly.
  • You are OK with ambiguity and change and enjoy working at pace.
  • Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Analytics and CRM (Hubspot).
  • Comfortable using Klavivio or can learn on the job.
  • Advanced report writing skills, including daily sales and campaign performance analysis and reporting.

What you already have

  • 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing / advertising.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven approach to decision making with a strong focus on KPIs and ROI.
  • Demonstrated experience working on e-commerce brands.
  • Degree qualified – preferably in business with a major in marketing and/or commerce.
  • Track record of managing digital marketing budgets and driving profitable revenue growth
  • Experience managing and building a team.
  • Experienced working with external marketing agencies to deliver components of the digital marketing strategy.
  • Proactive, energetic mindset with the ability to deliver both short term and long-term objectives.
  • Hands-on profile with a focus on achieving commercial success and a strong sense of ownership for the outcome.

Role Three: E-Commerce and Operations Manager

About the job

 Reporting to the Founder/CEO, this is a pivotal new role – we are looking for an ambitious self-starter, passionate about growing a role to mould into their own. You’ll lead, develop and execute Country Culture’s web and operations strategy to drive market share and growth targets in a competitive industry.

This role will initially be very hands on and see you lead all web, operations, platforms and warehouse activities including managing the Digital Platforms – Klavio and Hubspot, a warehouse manager, SEO experts and Web developer and casual staff during peak operations.

Based in Alexandria, onsite parking and close to transport. This is an office based position with the scope to transition to a hybrid office/WFM model in the future.

 What You'll Do

· Own the website across the business – including working with third party suppliers.

· Work collaboratively with the marketing coordinator and team - manage the Shopify site, CMS Platform, and ongoing improvements.

· Perform testing for all changes and monitor website performance.

· Be responsible for the online product catalogue, promotions and content on website via the back-end shopify solution – this includes adding new stock and running inventory.

· Support all web based campaigns to go live as required on the site. Maintain website campaign calendar, procure, and assign creative assets.

· Assist with product selection and design and lead the execution of new product collaborations with makers and designers.

· Manage end-to-end approval process for new content to go live.

· Assist with corporate gift selections and concepts. Create a corporate product catalogue which can be customised for specific clients. There will be hands-on elements to this part of the role, closely working with the warehouse manager.

· Managing the corporate and customer database and corporate orders via CRM Hubspot.

· Assess customer feedback to identify marketing solutions to improve the brand experience.

All about you:

· At least 5 years experience managing websites.

· You will hit the ground running - you have worked in a online retail/e-comm environment and understand what’s required to maintain and grow an online store. Have previously managed a Shopify website and comfortable adding inventory to the site and working with the Warehouse manager to perform regular stocktakes.

· You are OK with ambiguity and change and enjoy working at pace.

· Comfortable running daily/weekly/monthly traffic analysis via reporting tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar.

· Comfortable with investigating add ons and tools to optimise the user experience and website.

· Likely have a background in design with relevant Adobe Creative Suite and Indesign Skills

· generate custom Shopify Themes and modify pre-existing templates based on defined brand benchmarks; confident integrating shopify e-commerce apps and basic coding a bonus.

Nice to have :

· Working knowledge of Klaviyo, HubSpot, Xero (training will be supported for the right candidate).

· Content development - ability to create content including photography and videography skills.

What you already have

· 3-5 years’ experience in digital, website development.

· Understand Shopify, Hubspot and Klaviyo in detail.

· Highly analytical and data-driven approach to decision making with a strong focus on KPIs and ROI.

· Demonstrated experience working on e-commerce brands

· Experienced working with external web marketing agencies to deliver components of the digital marketing strategy.
