Female Founders: Behind the Gift Box
As we approach International Women's Day, we're highlighting female-founded products and their inspiring stories. Our curated gift box includes products from Notely, Nina Bailey, Deva Cacao, Yaye, and Murphy & Daughters – all founded by phenomenal women.
Meet Jenica Smith, founder of Notely, an Australian stationery brand offering FSC-certified products. Based in Brisbane, Jenica's passion for design and collaboration shines through Notely's Art Collection, featuring original artworks by gifted Australian creatives.
Next, we introduce the Mother-Daughter duo, Tandra and Taylor, founders of Nina Bailey. Based in Perth, they produce eco-friendly, luxury candles with 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free fragrances. Their Rose Botanical Bath Soak is a customer favourite!
For chocolate lovers, we present Deva Cacao, Australia's first producer of tempered raw chocolate. Founded by Maggie and Ming, their chocolates are dairy, gluten, soy-free and use raw bush honey as a sweetener. They offer eco-friendly packaging, making their products a guilt-free indulgence.
Melissa, from Mparntwe Alice Springs, created Yaye to pay tribute to the women who nurtured and supported her. These 100% Aboriginal and Australian made products are ethically produced from plants native to Central Australia.
Murphy and Daughters, started by Sarah, offers vibrant, locally-sourced products with unique scents. This Australian-made range keeps family at its heart, with its name inspired by Sarah's grandparents' newsagency.
Lastly, Janice Payne, founder of blackMILK, handcrafts luxurious Australian products such as candles, soaps, room mists, diffusers, and body products. Using 100% soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and natural ingredients, blackMILK's products are environmentally friendly and long-lasting.
Celebrate International Women's Day by supporting these female-founded brands and their unique, eco-friendly products.
